it has been a while. and lots has happened.
i have finished my india adventure and spiced it up with a bit of nepal. but i think there is just to much to write and anybody who actually cares can ask me in person. all the pictures i took have been put up on flickr. www.flickr.com/braleyboles
my london adventure is coming to an end. in a few short weeks it will be over. i am starting to look forward to someing back to the great ol' united states but will miss this little island in the ocean.

INDIA
hey all. well i have left London and now i am in new Delhi. I got in this morning after a 8 or so hour flight. it is freaking hot..... but anyway.
so i got of the plane and was toatally in over my head but then i talked to some dudes and they told me i should head toward the new delhi station. and so that's what i did... i ended up in a taxt but the driver was really nice. i shared the taxi with tow girls fro holland.
the taxi driver kept takling about love amd how the eyes where the first thing that found love. then you had to listen to your heart even if your brain was telling you something differnet. the heart tells you the good things and the brain tells you the bad. he told us that he wasn't amrried becasue he haden't found the right girl. that he needed to have money to have a good live an family and that's why he didn't have either. he seemed like a good guy. it was quite interestig. the two holland girls got of at the train station and then he took me to find a hotel. the told me that there were lots of bad people in india and told me he hoped i only met the good ones. i hope he was one of the goods ones. he seemed like it.
now only a few hours after landing i am sitting here. writing this blog listingint to the constant drone of the car horns beeping. the traffic is a whole other story. there is a crazy movement in this city. one that is kinda scary....the biggest thing on the road wins.
so long for now...
more to come.

update...
so i am bad at updating this. mostly because i don't have internet at the homestead. so starting from the last post.
october: yeah i was a messenger. but i quit after a month because as of november 1st i got a job at the Apple store. the rest of october was fun. i threw a halloween alley cat that had a 64 person turn out and some really great prizes. not to bad for only having been in london for a month and a half.
so with the start of november:
i was/am still living in the squat but in november we got a notice from the council saying we needed to go to court because we were getting evicted. that got us worried so we started looking for more places to live. meeting up with another fellow squatter we decided that we wanted to open up a big place, preferably a warehouse, so we started looking.
a few days later we found a building that we wanted to open. it was an old employment centre. and it was huge.
later that week we went for it. 11pm at night we walked about a mile from my house down to the building. there were 5 of us and we were armed with a crowbar, some door locks, and sleeping bags(me and my friend louis planned on staying there that night). the way you can tell if a house/building is abandoned or not being used is how it looks. in london they cover all the doors and windows in cytex(metal doors and plates that go over all the ways to get in) and that is how we look for empty place. spot the cytex and that is a potential new home.
so there we where 5 people standing on the street looking up at this building deciding how to (well essentially) break in. the building was on the canal so one entrance was below street level and the other on street level around on a side street. we decided that two of the guys would hop over the fence covered in barbed wire and me and the other girl would keep watch on the canal and one other guy would keep watch from the street. we decided to sit on the edge of the canal and wait for some news on how the mission was going. not to long later we saw a sleeping bag tossed over the wall by the canal and shortly after my two friends following it. they hopped down and walked over to us.
a security alarm had gone of. we decided they would leave and we would stay and see if any security came. none did. louis came back and we decided he and i would go in and sleep there for the night.
it was my turn to take a leap over the ten foot tall barbed wire covered fence. you had to be careful case there was only a 2foot gap with out any barbwire on it and the trick was to,well, climb over it there. i made it but it was harded than it looked. louis threw the bags over to me and we walled along the wall to the back of the building where louis and sax had peeled off a row of the cytex and open the window(who ever had secured the building with the cytex had stupidly not locked the window) i climbed in first and the security alarm started to go off. it wasn't your normal alarm it was a creepy male voice, "Stop you are trespassing security has been notified please leave immediately." so on and so forth. we started to explore the building trying to get up to the second floor where the windows weren't boarded up so we could watch and see if anyone came.
we found the stairs and started to look around. it was then we realized it had been squatted before. the tell-tale "art" on the walls of it's previous occupants. (i don't think i am wrong in saying that most squatters consider them selves "artists" and feel the need to use the wall of their homes as canvas.) one nof the rooms had a huge snake cage with a three foot long skin in it. finally we found a room with a window that would open. we opened the window and peered out. as we did this security pulled up.
we stayed quiet for a bit waiting to see what the man did. he had a look around and called someone on his mobile. this is when we diecided to let him know we where there.
"Hey mate!" called louis. the man looked around and finally up. his face bewildered
"Uh, hi."
"hey mate, were living here." -Louis
"um, can i come in and turn off the alarm?" -security
"uh, no."
"well i am suppose to. can you let me in?" -security
"uh no, sorry mate. You want to throw us the keys up and tell us how to?" - louis
"uh, ok then." - yes he actually threw us his ring of security keys to turn off the alarm.
"um,, which one is it?"-me
"the green one. touch it to the alarm and it will turn off."
"ok"
so we truend it off and threw the keys back. but security had just one more question.
"one thing. how the fuck did you get in there?"
"well somebody left the window open...." - me. not really a lie. but you don't really want to admit to breaking and entering.
that house only lasted a few days. the owners IPO us and we got evicted but it was a fun adventure.
i opened up two other big buildings but none stuck that long. one was and old goldsmiths factory with a huge safe in it. now that was cool.
December: christmas was spent with a few of my messenger buddies. i got a call from three of them on christmas eve telling me to come over to eat dinner. so i do a christmas dinner cooked for me by three guys. and it was completely freegan. (they stole the turkey from a posh gorocery store outside st. pauls cathedral). i spent christmas day playing bicycle polo at all of london's famous places.
January: rang in the new year and a london pub with a bunch of hipsters. i was more fun than it sound
february: even though it has just begun a lot has happened. we worked out a deal with the council so we aren't getting kicked out of the original squat. i watched the superbowl at pub with some british friends. and london had its worst snow in 20 years. (about 6in) oh yeah, and i booked a plane ticket to india. where i will be going for three months. woo.....
yeah so this is a bit long winded but well i don't think anyone will really read it and way
